I’m Paul.

At this moment, I am 34.

Born and bred on Walney, Barrow in Furness.

I’ve been playing away on my guitar since I was a child. 11 I think, I remember lessons at Walney School

and then getting my own lessons with Peter Kassell for a number of years.

Pete still amazes me what he can do, if i’m ever 1/10th as good i’ll be a very happy man.

I have been in a few bands in my younger years, some gigging, some recording… then had a few years

out as work and life took over.

Around June 2022, my priorities shifted with the loss of my biggest supporter.

So I got back into what I enjoyed, and set out strumming away with a few cover tunes. Ive never been a

fantastic singer but I can hold a tune.

I set myself a goal and the goal was to play and sing, solo, at local record shop TNT Records Birthday

Bash in Dec 2022.

It was only a handful of covers, but was out of my comfort zone. It went well!

One evening I was asked to step in on vocal duties for one practice session of a friends pop punk band

‘Waiting for Midnight’.

I did, I enjoyed it and the next thing i’m singing for the band, inheriting guitar and vocals along the way.

In the background, i’ve worked on my own songs for quite a while, so decided with renewed

enthusiasm and confidence, to get 6

of them professionally recorded. Danny Stone has worked wonders bringing ideas and my songs to life.

‘Pieced Together By Night’ is just the beginning. I hope you enjoy them, there is a wide range of themes

and tempos.

Regardless, i’ve done this for me first and foremost. If anyone else likes them that is just a bonus
